In Šišan, Croatia, the local kindergarten “Bubamara” was transformed into a vibrant space for education and play through a community-driven project involving 24 volunteers, educators, and residents. Funded partly by STOCK FOUNDATION, the project focused on creating a wooden bridge, planting Mediterranean greenery, and adding colorful finishing touches.

The initiative brought together parents, staff, and professionals to complete 159 hours of work, including 40 hours of preparation, 64 hours of construction and landscaping, and 76 hours for planting and final details. The result is a play area that doubles as an educational space, fostering creativity, teamwork, and environmental awareness.
