We are pleased to introduce a new initiative of the STOCK Foundation – Encounters with Art. The project aims to facilitate contact with art for people in need of support, seeking balance in their lives for various personal reasons. In partnership with the Association of Support Centres, we organised the first pilot meeting with art in Lublin, led by Ms Jolanta Polańska, Senior Curator at the National Museum in Lublin.

The participants, over 55 people, had the opportunity to get to know the fascinating world of the Kossak family: the talented painters Juliusz, his sons Wojciech and Tadeusz, and his grandsons Jerzy and Karol, as well as the extraordinary women of the family: literary personalities Magdalena Samozwaniec, Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska, Zofia Kossak-Szczucka and Simona Kossak, professor of forestry sciences and a well-known environmental activist. Our initiative was very warmly received and it was clear that it had a real, positive impact on the lives of older people. Take a look at the photos!
