Stock Foundation have just completed a series of training sessions attended by 30 employees of the Municipal Family Support Centers (MOPR) in Lublin. The workshops were led by our therapists, Anna Kalbus and Jerzy Brożyna, and were designed for professionals who work daily with individuals affected by various forms of addiction.

The program is highly practical. Participants learn how to conduct conversations that encourage positive change, respond effectively in crisis situations, manage emotions, and build relationships based on trust and clearly defined boundaries. The training also incorporates real-life case studies and practical examples.

An important aspect of the program is moving beyond simple, black-and-white solutions toward a harm-reduction approach and supporting gradual, step-by-step changes in habits and life decisions.

The social benefits of these activities are tangible:

  • better-prepared social workers make more effective decisions when supporting people in crisis,
  • the effectiveness and long-term impact of support services increase,
  • people struggling with addiction have a greater chance of achieving meaningful and lasting improvements in their lives.

The STOCK Foundation helps strengthen the skills and expertise of those who dedicate their work to helping others.
