Stock Foundation: Training at the Social Welfare Home Strengthens Support for Those at Risk of Addiction
On May 28, the Stock Foundation organized another session for social work staff of Social Welfare Home for people with disabilities. It was focused on supporting individuals at risk of addiction. The workshop combined theoretical and practical elements: participants learned about the impact of addiction, analyzed case studies to identify warning signs, and engaged in a Q&A with our experienced therapists, Anna Kalbus and Jerzy Brożyna.
This training is crucial because social workers are often the first to notice when someone is struggling. By deepening their understanding and honing their practical skills, our team will be better equipped to assist people in crisis and strengthen our efforts in addiction prevention.
Thank you to all the social workers who took part and contributed to a constructive and informative session. Your dedication helps create a safer and more supportive community.
